My rebate was declined, what do I do now?

If you purchased a valid item from a participating store and you think you're receipt was declined incorrectly, don't worry! It's possible that you simply need to resubmit it to have it approved. Here are the declined messages that you will see along with the meaning of each:


The text of your receipt photo could not be read. This is typically because your photo is blurry, small or dimly lit. Please see how to upload your receipt and try again.


If you did purchase the correct items and have the correct receipt, please do the following:

  1. Select “Redeem Rebates” again from the "Coupons" screen (see How to redeem rebate coupons).
  2. Re-upload a clear and complete photo of the receipt so long as the coupon is not expired (see How do I upload my receipt for steps on how to submit a good receipt photo). 
  3. We will re-evaluate the submitted receipt and update your account in the app within 3 days. 


The receipt you have submitted is incomplete. Please submit the entire length of the receipt. Please see how to upload your receipt and try again.


The receipt that you submitted appears to be incomplete. It is possible that it is cut off and does not contain all of the details that we need in order to process the coupon redemption.


If you did purchase the correct items and have the correct receipt, please do the following:

  1. Select “Redeem Rebates” again from the "Coupons" screen (see How to redeem rebate coupons).
  2. Re-upload a clear and complete photo of the receipt so long as the coupon is not expired (see How do I upload my receipt for steps on how to submit a good receipt photo). 
  3. We will re-evaluate the submitted receipt and update your account in the app within 3 days. 


Incorrect retailer

The receipt that you submitted isn't for the retailer that was offering this rebate coupon. Please check to see if you have a receipt from one of the participating retailers by viewing the coupon details. If you did purchase the correct items from the correct retailer and have the correct receipt, please do the following:

  1. Make sure to "clip" the rebate from the retailer that you actually made the purchase from and have a receipt for (see How do I clip a rebate coupon).
  2. Select “Redeem Rebates” again from the "Coupons" screen (see How to redeem rebate coupons).
  3. Re-upload a clear and complete photo of the receipt so long as the coupon is not expired (see How do I upload my receipt for steps on how to submit a good receipt photo). 
  4. We will re-evaluate the submitted receipt and update your account in the app within 3 days. 


Item not on receipt

No valid items were found on the receipt that you submitted for this coupon. If you did purchase the correct items and have the correct receipt, please select “Redeem Rebates” (see How to redeem rebate coupons) again and re-upload the receipt so long as the coupon is not expired.


The applicable items were not found on the receipt you submitted. Please check your receipt and try again.

The receipt that you submitted does not contain any of the items that are on the rebate coupon that you redeemed. If you did purchase the correct items and have the correct receipt, please select “Redeem Rebates” (see How to redeem rebate coupons) again and re-upload the receipt so long as the coupon is not expired.


The photo you have uploaded was not of a receipt. Please check your receipt and try again.

It appears as though the image that you submitted at the time of redemption for this coupon is not an actual receipt. If you did purchase the correct items and have the correct receipt, please select “Redeem Rebates” again and re-upload the receipt so long as the coupon is not expired.


The receipt upload has failed. Please check your receipt and try again.

If you did purchase the correct items and have the correct receipt, please select “Redeem Rebates” again and re-upload the receipt so long as the coupon is not expired.


Coupon expired

The expiry date is displayed on the rebate coupon. If you are seeing this message from a rejected coupon, it is because the coupon expiry date had past at the time that you submitted it for redemption. 


Coupon already used

The coupon that you redeemed has already been processed for a previous redemption. Please note that you cannot redeem a coupon more than once. 


Duplicate coupon

A coupon has already been applied to the receipt that you submitted. If you check your Account tab, you should be able to find the previously submitted receipt. 


Coupon not yet valid

This rebate coupon has not been activated yet. Please check the coupon details to see when you can submit it for redemption.


Purchase quantity not met

Quantity of purchases is insufficient for coupon. This means that based on the receipt submitted, we cannot find the proper amount of items that were necessary for this coupon to be valid.
